*Special Session Title: Optimization of Renewable Energy-Based Hydrogen Production Systems and Interactive Operation with the Power Grid
Hydrogen energy is a vital next-generation energy source that supports the energy transition and carbon reduction. Electricity-hydrogen synergy plays a key role in enabling large-scale development and utilization of renewable energy and in building a new-type power system. This topic spans various aspects, including system planning, production and operation, grid interaction, and diversified applications. It involves multiple disciplines such as source-grid-load-storage optimization, local integrated energy network design, market bidding strategies for surplus renewables, hydrogen energy storage for system peak shaving, and green hydrogen-based ammonia and methanol production. It also includes both off-grid and grid-connected modes, and touches upon technical, economic, stability, and safety considerations. In light of the trends and demands of energy and power development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, it is necessary to focus on research into key technological advances in renewable hydrogen production, optimized source-grid-load-storage configurations, new system costs models, models for system participation in grid peak regulation, and future development pathways.
Topics(including but not limited to):
- Key Technologies and Applications of Renewable Energy-Based Hydrogen Production
- Optimization and Planning of Renewable Energy-Based Hydrogen-Ammonia-Methanol Systems
- Design of Local Grids for Renewable Energy-Based Hydrogen Production Systems
- Grid Peak Regulation Capability of Renewable Energy-Based Hydrogen Production Systems
- Operation and Safety of Renewable Energy-Based Hydrogen Production Systems
